This session will explore how to foster an inclusive classroom culture by collaboratively creating classroom agreements with students. Attendees will learn strategies for facilitating student voice, promoting mutual respect, and building a shared sense of responsibility and belonging. The session will cover practical steps for developing, implementing, and revisiting agreements throughout the school year. Participants can expect to leave with tools and examples to support a more inclusive, student-centered learning environment.
Objectives: By attending this session, participants will understand the role of co-created classroom agreements in building an inclusive and respectful learning environment. They will be able to facilitate the creation of these agreements with students and apply strategies to sustain a positive classroom culture throughout the year.
