SUHSD Educators Summer Symposium 2025

This session, "Using AI for Lesson Design," explores the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence in enhancing teaching and learning experiences. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of AI basics, including predictive and generative AI, and learn the art of effective prompt writing. The presentation delves into critical considerations such as federal policies (FERPA, COPPA) and SUHSD's district guidelines for AI use, emphasizing literacy, privacy, ethics, and responsibility. We will also explore practical applications of AI for lesson design, content creation, and developing critical thinking skills, showcasing various AI tools and best practices for responsible and ethical integration in the classroom.
